°Ä¿Í²ÊƱÍø hosts 10th annual special education field day for Hinds County students

For the 10th year in a row, °Ä¿Í²ÊƱÍø hosted special education field day for Hinds County students on May 1.

Students from Hinds County schools throughout the district gathered at Gene Murphy Field at Joe Renfroe Stadium on the Raymond Campus for a series of fun and games that included popcorn, snow cones and a sack lunch as a way to end the school year.

°Ä¿Í²ÊƱÍø employees and students volunteered to help with the games. The highlight of the annual event is the wheel chair race. Hinds students and employees pushed students in jogging chairs on the track.
