Hinds has a record number of graduation ceremonies this spring with eight scheduled over three days. Nearly 1,200 will graduate in those commencement exercises, with more than 800 participating in the largest ceremony.

Those graduates will receive more than 1,500 certificates and degrees since some graduates will receive more than one credential.

As Mississippi’s largest community college, °Ä¿Í²ÊƱÍø is a comprehensive institution offering quality, affordable educational opportunities with more than 170 academic, career and technical programs. Jerimy Brown of Clinton and his classmates received degrees in Radiologic Technology from °Ä¿Í²ÊƱÍø on May 14. He asked classmates including Kayla Hensarling of Terry, standing, and Kacey Thomas of Brandon, sitting, to sign a shirt for him as a going away present since he is moving.
